Beckley CPA's main office is in the Preston Pointe Centre building, also know as the Chicago Title/TX First Bank building, on the east side of Preston Rd just north of Plano Pkwy in Plano, Texas.
Our second office is in Cornelius, North Carolina (near Charlotte) on W Catawba Ave.
Meet the Beckley & Associates Staff
Jeff Beckley, CPA - President
Jeff started Beckley & Associates (formerly Beckley CPA PC) in 2005 in McKinney, Texas. In 2006 the firm moved to the Colonial Building in Plano, Texas, and then in late 2013 moved to the Preston Pointe Centre bulding in West Plano. Jeff has been a Texas CPA since 1993. He was the 2018 Board Chair of the Plano Chamber of Commerce, which was the year the Chamber won Chamber of the Year by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).
Jeff loves working closely with clients through tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and small to medium-size businesses and performing advisory sessions generally. He also enjoys educating clients on the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
An avid runner, Jeff competes in several marathons and half-marathons each year. In early 2017, he completed his first 50-mile race in Huntsville, Texas. In Sept 2018 he completed the Chatanooga, Tennessee, Ironman competition. Jeff also enjoys reading every chance he gets, from civil war history to political bios to contemporary literary fiction.

Judith A Kristan, CPA, MBA - Director of Tax Services
Judith (Judy) Kristan is a 20-year veteran of tax return preparation and tax planning for both businesses and individuals. As a licensed CPA, her current work is with Beckley & Associates PLLC, setting up and managing the newest company location in Cornelius, North Carolina, near Charlotte. She also has experience in a large corporate tax preparation environment at Baxter Healthcare Inc, as well as tax technology training at Deloitte & Touche Tax Technologies. Judy also enjoys the role of educator for graduate students in the area of accounting and tax and has found that her teaching skills add additional value when working with clients. Judy also is proficient in QuickBooks desktop software.
Judy spends time each week weight training and doing aerobics, cycling, and singing in the Praise Team at her church. Judy can also play several musical instruments. She loves to read, particularly nonfiction. Currently she is reading novels by a writer in North Carolina, which is giving her a new perspective on the local environment where she lives.

Juliette Collin - Vice President of Operations
Juliette oversees the operations of Beckley & Associates and manages the office team. She has been with the firm since the beginning. Among other things, she is in charge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Human Resources and Customer Service. She enjoys catching up with clients throughout the year, as they come in for tax planning or to drop off their tax documents for tax preparation. She also looks forward to evaluating and refining our digital tools at Beckley & Associates each year to help us to serve our clients more efficiently.
Juliette majored in Literary Studies at the University of Texas at Dallas and graduated with honors in 1993. She is an avid reader of contemporary and classic literature, is a major dog lover, likes to take long walks around her local gym, and enjoys having brunch or dinner with friends on the weekends.
Shannon Tyler - Tax Accountant
Shannon has been with Beckley & Associates since April 2013 starting out in our former office in E. Plano, Texas. She has worked as an auditor in past employment and now prepares corporate and nonprofit income tax returns for our business clients. Shannon also prepares payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, W-2s and 1099s for our clients with small to medium-size businesses.
Dawn Oathout - Tax Accountant
Dawn joined our team in Feb 2019 as has been a great addition. She prepares individual income tax returns and performs accounting for some of our business clients. Dawn also has a role in the transition from Accounting to Tax.
Susan Sacknoff - Senior Bookkeeper
Susan has 25-plus years' experience as a bookkeeper. She has worked closely with CPAs in previous jobs to assist businesses with things such as setting up their books from scratch or converting their books from manual to computerized systems.
Forensic accounting has been one area Susan has specialized in; others include, inter-company accounting, asset and liability accounting and job-costing. Susan has worked with both for-profit and nonprofit organizations and has experience in industries such as commercial and residential construction, manufacturing, consulting and veterinary services. She is proficient in QuickBooks (R) desktop, and more recently, QuickBooks Online (R).

Jennifer joined Beckley & Associates in March 2017. She has over 20 years’ experience as an administrator in the professional services industry, working for consulting and executive recruiting firms before joining our team. Jennifer is our clients’ first point of contact in the office or on the phone. Besides managing the staff calendar, ordering office supplies and working on special projects, Jennifer assesses clients’ tax documents for tax preparation readiness.
She will graduate with Honors in Spring 2019 with an Associates degree in communication from Collin College and plans to continue her education at the University of Texas at Permian Basin for a Bachelor’s degree.
